This is my, ‘Hey, I’m not a bad person and I really don’t want to get sued by any assholes who might have stumbled upon this blog and are looking to make a quick buck off of my social media naïvete’ page. A little research on travel blogs and industry standards tells me that it’s probably in my best interest to dedicate a page such as this one, simply to explain what my travel blog is and what it isn’t.
Generally speaking, the main purpose of this blog is to chronicle my current ‘Round The World’ trip (hopefully an entertaining one) as I take some time off from the rat race to fulfill my childhood dreams of being a world explorer and to discover where my real passions lie. However, you must keep in mind that I am, for all intents and purposes, unemployed, and as such, I am looking for opportunities to make money, either associated with this website or not. Therefore, I will disclose any instances where I’m writing about an experience and got a ‘freebie’. So essentially, what I’m trying to say is that I’m not going to give some bogus recount of a business I interact with simply to earn a quick buck, but I will disclose the information you, as a potential consumer, need to make an informed decision about my intentions.
